Yes, I have been Stamping!

This is my last week before returning to work as a middle school teacher, so my to do list has surpassed my time! This happens every year...the transition between summer's easy-going schedule to the rush of back to school.

I have been stamping, but I can't really show you yet what I spent the majority of the last two days on...besides family issues. In October, I have this important event that I made invitations for, and now just need to locate all addresses and send! When they go out, I'll post it.

To add to my to do list, I signed up for a Have a Ball in Fall scrapbook Swap. What was I thinking? The actual swap is due in September, but with the start of school, I had to get cracking. I started with one whole idea and the realized that I was out of Old Olive 12 x12. I didn't even embellish those pages, but will after I find pictures!

Instead, I went to a non-typical fall color combo---Brilliant Blue, Real Red, Old Olive, and Bashful Blue.

Where did I come up with that color combo? Summer Picnic Paper, of course! I decided that the Brilliant Blue was striking with the other colors in the paper. This allowed me to use all the reds I had saved up in the paper pack. The cool thing about Stampin' Up!'s paper is that you get so much, a ton of projects can be made with it!

I hope I'm not breaking the swap rules by showing it early, but I wanted to show that I do scrapbook! These pages will be for our annual apple picking trip in September...if we have one this year! I made my title "apples 2 apples" in reference to a fun game we play sometimes! I thought it worked out.

The other main thing taking up my time stampin'-wise is getting ready for a

Stamp and Scrapbook Sale

at my house

on Saturday, August 23

between 8-1.

If you are in the area and want some retired stuff or see my handmade crafts, stop by! I am off to clean the garage!
