Ronald McDonald House Charities FUN-draiser!

Ronald McDonald House Charities is a very special charity to me. Without the Ronald McDonald House in Milwaukee associated with Children's Hospital, a foster child and student of mine wouldn't have had the quality of life she did. The RMH allowed her family to stay near her, especially her mother, whom she loved and needed during her stays. Over Christmas one year, the RMH allowed her brother and three sisters (plus me) to stay with her mother. This allowed her mother to stay in Milwaukee near her daughter while still being a mom to the other kids. The house was open and welcoming and kept that family together in times of need.

What's amazing about life is how intertwined events can be. I wasn't a big stamper back then. I barely had heard of Stampin' Up! Now, as a demonstrator, I am able to partner with a company that donates $100,000 per year to RMHC PLUS the $2 of the proceeds from each sale of a special stamp set, PLUS has demonstrator teams volunteering in each house! I am thrilled to be able to once again offer an annual FUN-draiser to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

You might be thinking...That's not the Say it With Scallops set! You're right! Jennifer loved butterflies and I couldn't resist using Flight of the Butterfly for the cover. If you look carefully, I used one stamp from Say it with Scallops on the front. You might also be saying, "Wow! That's a bit girly, Sara." I was also trying to make it something Jennifer would love, so I used colors she loved.

Here's one of the cards you'll make using the Say it With Scallops set.

Please join me in honoring her memory and raising funds for a great cause!

  7. I really like that Say it with Scallops card! Very contemporary IMO and I like that! Good luck with the fundraiser. For me, the nice thing about RMHC is that being a SU! demo we can volunteer for RMHC AND my DD's Brownie troop sponsors a RMHC near us! It's such an awesome organization! TFS

I really like the way that you created your own flowers to match the one in the stamped image on the last card.
