So, it's Monday, and I found some time to play, between naps and errands.

Stamps: Baroque Motifs, Teeny Tiny Wishes (in the new catalog)
Paper: Bella Bleu, Very Vanilla
Ink: Not Quite Navy Craft Ink, Sahara Sand, Brocade Blue
Accessories: Pretties Kit, Glassy Glaze Enamel Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Powder Pal, Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots
This card started as an attempt to combine two Diva Coffee Break Design Challenges-last week's Color Challenge `132 and this week's Sketch 133. I was close on both, but not exact:

I got the Kraft, Night of Navy and Very Vanilla correct!

I wanted to show off more the of the paper, so I made a square card. Then, I realized I didn't want to add a visual element at the top, so added to the upper right of my main image. The squares in the corners threw me for a bit, but eventually, I found a layout I liked.
I had to go with what my creativity called for!
Happy Stamping!

I like it a lot! It's very nice and very smart to combine both challenges, thanks for playing! Good luck with the cottage makeover!
ReplyDeleteVery nice card. I like how you changed it, but it still looks like the sketch. Thanks for playing along with our team this week. Join us more often.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colors! I just received some Bella Bleu paper no too long ago and I also have the Baroque Motif stamp set. Really cool for a wedding card- thanks for the inspiration!
