Black and White In Style

At Convention I received a great swap using a technique called emboss resist on DSP. WOW! It was jaw dropping. The image of the paper was highlighted by the embossing and the rest of the card was muted. I wanted to share this right away with my Technique class.

Here's my version:

Stamps: Medallion, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Night and Day Designer Series Paper, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Versamark, Whisper White, Basic Black
Accessories: Crystal Clear Embossing Powder, Embossing Tool, Powder Pal, Sponge daubers, Flower Brads, 5/8 Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Scallop Edge Punch

Here is the card and technique 6x6 page:

How fun! The trickiest part of this project was seeing the clear ink on the busy paper to figure out 1) if it was inked, and 2) if it was fully embossed. The second trickiest part was the messiness of the sponge daubing! Oh well, it makes a cool card!

Happy Stamping!
