This stop features the In Stitches Wheel and the Sweet Stitches Designer Series Paper. What better way to start than with a Scrapbook page?
The In Stitches Wheel is used here two ways. first, I added a wheel width of stitches by embossing the versamark inked pattern with white embossing powder. I love this look the most--it really looks like real fancy stitches! The second way I used the wheel was to add a pattern to my photo mattes. That way, when I add photos, the photo frame will have a little texture. I used Baja Breeze ink on Baja Breeze paper for a subtle look. By the way, isn't this piece of Designer Paper cute? The needle and thread border made me want to use it! (even if the background is pink).
How about a coordinating card?
Now, where would a good hop post be without a 3D item? (those are my favorite anyway).
Check it out--I used the brand spanking new Petal Cone Die to create this beauty! First, I made my own designer paper with my In Stitches Wheel and a tri-color jumbo ink cartridge, which I inked up in Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, and Old Olive. I completely covered a piece of 8 1/2 by 11 paper with diagonal rows of the wheel pattern. I cut it in half to make each half of the petal cone and then was set! I put it together, added some buttons and brads, and had a great project ready to fill with candy!
