Razzleberry Wedding Wishes

My husband Bubba is starting a photography business. He's always loved photography, but has decided that his artistic style would be well-applied to weddings. We have three sets of friends that have agreed to let him take photos, so I guess that means I'll be going to weddings! Perhaps, I can do some invitations or party favors! That would be fun! Anyway, for a recent swap, I created this card:

Stamps: Vintage Labels (Sale-a-bration set)
Paper: Bridal Specialty Designer Series Paper, Whisper White, Basic Gray, Brushed Silver, Rich Razzleberry
Ink: Rich Razzlberry, Encore Silver
Accessories: Big shot, Heart Embosslit, Scallop Edge Punch, Sponge Daubers, Platnium Shimmer Paint, Spray Bottle, Rubbing Alcohol, Brayer, Basic Gray Satin Ribbon

Wait. You might be thinking, "I don't remember Rich Razzleberry Designer Series Paper. Where is that in the catalog?" Well, I changed the white Bridal Paper to Rich Razzlberry by brayering on the color! The foil swirls resist the ink, so just the background changes color. Pretty neat, huh?

I also used about 1/4 teaspoon of platinum shimmer paint in about 3 ounces of rubbing alcohol in a spritz bottle. I just sprayed my paper and Voila! Silvery Shimmer! Another easy, but amazing technique!

Be sure to check out my blog this weekend as I partake in a celebration of my favorite place to see Stampin' Up! ideas-- Stampin' Addicts! Celebrate the 1st birthday of this site with a blog hop of about 23 stops! I'll be featuring great "birth"day cards! You can also be inspired by the other great demonstrator-designers!

Happy Stamping!
