How'd I make that flower and flower pot?

Did I use a new punch for the flower pot? Did I use an embossing punch for the flower? Did I use a new embossed paper? Did I use a fancy scissors? Did I use pre-made die cuts?

No, No, No, and No. (If you have no idea what I'm talking about, here's my card from my previous post:)

I used a new Sizzix item called the Scallop Rectangle Clearlit (118872) on my Poppy Parade Cardstock:

Then, I cut along an imaginary line from the second scallop in from each side and four from the top. (Check out the picture above for a visual before cutting and this for after:

I then folded the top of my pot along a line four scallops in on the long side. I used a mini glue dot to hold the flap down. I apologize for it's fuzziness. It looked good on my camera!

Voila! a pot!

Now, how did I add texture to that flower?
Well, I used our new Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder (120175). I loved it when I used the entire folder, but I was drawn to the design repeated. I used my scallop circle punch to get a Concord Crush scallop. I placed those carefully in my folder and ran it through my Big Shot. Check it out:

I had to be creative on this card, but in the end, it's easy as always!

Happy Stamping!
