Summer Scrapbooking with Tropical Flavor

Today is the Alden Family Reunion- from my Grandfather's family. The "cousins," who mind, you are in or near retirement, plan this every other summer. It's the first one since my Grandma passed away, so that's a little sad. Family and history were important to her. I think that's where I started to love history and documenting the good moments in our lives. I hope to get a great picture of Bubba and I today for this scrapbook page:

Stamps: Tropical Party
Paper: Island Oasis DSP, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Whisper White
Ink: Melon Mambo
Accessories: Regal Buttons, Bone Folder, Big Shot, Serif ABC, Hemp Twine

This all started with the shirt. I found a set of directions in an old Stampin' Up! book for the shirt and wanted to make one with this paper, for, ohhh, 3 months or so. For some reason, there were no measurements--just typing paper, so I cut my 12 x 12 into 8 1/2 by 11. The shirt came out big, so I switched my thinking from card to scrapbook. I added a bit of flowers, some hemp twine, a title, and now all I need is a photo!

Happy Stamping!
