More Gratitude...

Thank-you for visiting my blog last weekend to check out what's in the new Holiday Mini Catalog! I had more projects in mind than I could fit on one post, so today, I am showing you another Day of Gratitude card:

Stamps: Day of Gratitude
Paper: Autumn Spice, Old Olive, Early Espresso, Naturals Ivory, More Mustard
Ink: Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Versamark
Accessories: Regals Brads, Paper Piercing Tool and Matte, Decorative Label Punch, 1 1/4 Circle Punch, 1 3/8 Circle Punch, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Paper Snips, Dimensionals, Scallop Edge Punch

I found this sketch on a site called Stamping 411 where a fabulous set of demonstrators create cards based on sketches every Saturday. This is a sketch from early August. I didn't post on their site because this was in the running for the blog hop. If you ever need a little stampin' help- that site might have your answers!

When I first designed this card-- I realized that once again I used Old Olive as my main background. I just love that color, but I wanted a little extra to set this card above the rest, so I added the large medallion stamp as a background. My stamp still had some Cajun Craze ink on it (opps), so the Versamark picked that up as as well as the watermark. I think it's a pretty cool effect, actually!

I also realized I didn't own ribbon (gasp!) that matched what I wanted to do!  I pushed my creative button and made an accent using my embossing folder and scissors. I like it better than if I had ribbon!

Happy Stamping!
