Faux Metal with a Wreath

Faux metal is one of those techniques that I knew about for a long time, but hadn't tried. Then, I bought the Tags Til Christmas stamp set and knew this was the perfect technique to try first.

Stamps: Tags Til Christmas, Welcome Christmas
Paper: Designer Series Paper Stack Regals Collection,Cherry Cobbler, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Versamark
Accessories: Silver Embossing Powder, Oval Punch, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, Rhinestones, Heat Tool

I wanted to showcase the little holly and making it a metal accent was a great and easy way to make the card cool. But, the Dec. 25th stamp also caught my eye so I decided to use both on my technique card:

Happy Stamping!

  7. Wow, you did a great job with these! And the faux metal parts are perfect. I know it can be hard to keep the stamp straight and not stretch your image out when doing this technique, but yours are perfect!
