A Spin on Halloween!

Welcome to October and the month of Halloween. I love this holiday. Each year I make my own costume in some way. The past few years, a colleague and I have paired up- Cookie Monster and Snufalupogus, Pirates, Frodo and Tree Beard...the list goes on and on! Here is a card we made a recent Stamp Camp:

Stamps:  Batty for You
Paper: Wicked Fun Designer Series Paper, Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black, Old Olive, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: 1/4" Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, DMC floss, Rich Razzlberry Grosgrain Ribbon, Regals Buttons, Photo Corner Punch

Wild huh? I was trying to design a card that my nephews would love. This card card has a special twist. The little ghost spins around to reveal:

This is called a suspension card and is quite fun to create! (and not too hard, once you get it). Basically, you sandwich floss ( I used black DMC floss) between two circle punch outs. Use a bigger circle to cut a hole through your card layers, and then hide the floss top and bottoms in the layer. So much wicked fun!

Happy Stamping!
