Watercolor Glimmer in a Fall Day

As my last post said, Fall is a great season up here in Wisconsin. I'm a nature girl and have always loved fall--especially in the woods with my Grandpa as a kid. He knew every tree in his woods and where every critter lived. If a leaf was overturned, he knew it. Oaks were his favorite and always make me think of him. This card was inspired by that memory:

Stamps: Lovely as a Tree, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper, Whisper White
Ink: Early Espresso
Accessories: Markers, Vintage Brads, 1/8 Early Espresso and Daffodil Delight Ribbon, Shimmer Shimmer, Rubbing Alcohol, Spritz Bottle

Just when you need a great idea, one appears. I got this idea from Cindy Elam, I think. I just can't find where. I really should write things like this down! This is a super cool technique we did in August (opps for not posting sooner). Color your stamp with markers. Ink onto paper. Spray with a spray bottle with alcohol and about 10 drops of Shimmer Paint. Super cool effect in real life!

Happy Stamping!
