Tough Cards to Make

Emotionally, that is. Yes, I am referring to Sympathy Cards. It's very hard to me to make them right when I need them, so one of our Stampin' Celebrations cards in January was a sympathy card. That way, we all had a small stash of them for those sad moments.

Stamps: Praying for You
Paper: Night of Navy, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla
Ink: Versamark, Baja Breeze
Accessories: Big Shot, Framed Tulip Embossing Folder, Scallop Oval Punch, 1 3/4 x 7/8 Oval Punch, Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon, Sponge Daubers, Pastels

The technique we used is called poppin' pastels. Stamp your image in versamark. Use sponge daubers to apply pastel powder to the image. Easy and fun!

Happy Stamping!

  1. You are right...these are the cards to have on hand. Both are really beautiful!
