Quilted Elegance

My mojo was really cranking when I planned my swaps for the Minneapolis Regional Event in February. I was on fire! I love the Elegant Soiree paper and thought, "How can I make this into a quilt?" I pulled out my marker the part you want technique and designed this:

Stamps: Clearly for You, In Stitches Jumbo Wheel
Paper: Baja Breeze, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Elegant Soiree Designer Series Paper
Ink: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso
Accessories: Big Shot, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, Baja Breeze Seam Binding, Vintage Trinkets, Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, 1 3/8" Square Punch

To do this, I punched six 1 3/8" squares and adhered them to the Early Espresso Background. Next, I used a marker on the stitch I wanted. I carefully rolled the stitches onto my cardstock. I adhered this to my Vanilla layer and then ran that through the Embossing Folder. Finally, I layered up my card!

Happy Stamping!

  3. WOW! This is really pretty! I knew that I would never ink the wheel that way so I unmounted mine! Now I have to use it again!
