Happy October

Happy World Cardmaking Day! I am celebrating by spending a great portion of my day playing in my stamp room--around laundry, soup-making, and and grocery shopping. To ensure I felt free to make as many cards as I wanted today, I had to clear off my to do list. First thing done--my October computer calendar.

Whew! I liked making this, but set a time limit upon myself-one hour. I think I could have done more, but I like it. My Digital Studio is a pretty easy program to use. There are multiple ways to get at each item. I found that as I played with the paper to fill in my punch, I could access all that on the right hand side, but still keep my stamps I wanted to use on the right. Handy.

I used a punch to highlight the calender part. I then filled it in with paper. Different, but fun, just like Halloween is to me.

The vintage feel was achieved by adding the texture stamp in black for some more shading. I also added some stitching for an embellishment to make it look repaired.

Fun if not perfect!

Happy Stamping!
