Celebrate those Moments--even the cold ones!

Cold moments are here to stay in Northern Wisconsin, so I had trouble of thinking of any kind of card except winter this week! No more super sunny cards until Spring, I guess What I do have is another picture of a card we will make next week at our Stampin' Celebrations card camp at Nancy's house in Green Bay. She's open to new guests, so if you'd like to join us, let me know.

Stamps: Jolly Bingo Bits
Paper: Bashful Blue, Marina Mist, Always Artichoke, Whisper White, and Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper
Ink: Marina Mist and Always Artichoke Markers
Accessories: 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Snowflake Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, 1" Square Punch, Mini Silver Brads, and Shimmer Spray

You can't really tell in my photo, but I shimmer sprayed the mittens to make it feel more like a frosty winter day. I just love this paper and had to make some winter-birthday cards with it. The mittens were calling to me!

Celebrating the little moments, like stepping into crunchy snow, or the first flakes of the season are my favorite ways of being grateful. Lately, I've needed to feel a little gratitude to make it through some tough days. However, those moments, like when I explained to my sixth graders that the white stuff falling from the sky was SNOW. (since they acted like they had never seen it before), are the moments that sustain me. This card kind of makes me think of those moments.

Happy Stamping!

  3. I love it!! I love how simple it is, yet perfect for winter. It's getting cold here in the valleys of Utah too. Brrrr.

  4. So nice to embrace the cold rather than fight it - I think you'll definitely have more fun that way!
