Happy Fourth of July!

Happy July 4th! May you be celebrating with BBQ, friends, and fun! My Stampin' Celebrations group wanted a fourth of july card. It's not a holiday I buy stamps for, really. (since I forget to send cards) I racked my brain as to what to do and thought of a card I saw sometime (no idea when) that used the Pennant Parade stamp set to make a star. I was on my way after that!

Stamps: Pennant Parade, Fabulous Phrases
Paper: Real Red, Pacific Point, Whisper White
Ink: Real Red
Accessories: Petite Pennants Builder Punch, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dots Folder

The star was a bit tricky to fit on page. Be sure to overlap the pennants and make the center look like an equal-sided pentagon (regular). Then, cover that all up with the scallop circle punch so no one knows how it looks underneath.  Getting those little stars from the pennant parade set to line up was tricky, so I also offered the star from....(drumroll)....Jolly Bingo Bits! Some stampers preferred that.

Happy Stamping!
