Ladybugs for Summer

One of my favorite images from the Bug Me stamp set is the ladybug. Here's what I did with it:

Stamps: Bug Me
Paper: Pacific Point, Whisper White, Real Red
Ink: Real Red
Accessories: Big Shot, Finishing Touches Edgelits, Delicate Dollies Sizzlits, 2 1/2" Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, 1/4" Real Red Taffeta Ribbon, Brights Buttsons, Stripes Embossing Folder, Brayer

I had originally pictured a red and black card. Then, Pacific Point called my name and my card turned red, white, and blue. I like it!

I used the same technique as before for my tablecloth look. I then, punched out the part I wanted to accent my ladybug. To do that, I just placed a doily on the surface so I could aim my punch correctly:

In this photo, you can also see that I used the Edgelit on a 1 1/4" strip of paper and adhered the paper under the edge of my tablecloth. I then, used the ribbon over the overlap.

Cute, and fun!

Happy Stamping!
