Teacher (and Staff) Appreciation Pencils

Teaching is often a job with many challenges and few moments of celebration. At every corner, there's something to be proud of, but someone or some policy pushing us to do better. I decided to start my school year out with some appreciation and positivity for my colleagues.

MIMS stands for Menominee Indian Middle School and I do think we rock. We care about kids. We do all we can for them. We try to treat them as individuals within a community. We try to stay positive. We do work hard. I just wanted everyone to know that we really are #1 as a staff.

I used my Simply Scored to do my scoring. I found it best to score every 1/2" inch and score 7 times across a 3.5" by 4.25" piece of Daffodil Delight. I then just cut a 3/4ish strip of Silver and 1" ish of Regal Rose for the eraser. I tried to save cash and use SNAIL, but eventually sticky stripped them all. I used glue dots to stick the hershey kiss (or hug) on the tip of the ROlO. Yum-o. I must say making 40 of them was a challenge. I just wanted to eat all the rolo's! I went through 1 cup of cherry tomatoes and a bag of mini carrots that afternoon. My next project will not involve my favorite candy!

Happy Stamping!
