Easter Wishes in Coral

Sometimes a card design is in your head and works out better than expected and sometimes worse. I still am not sure I like this one, but the stampers did--however, the picture makes it even look worse!

Stamps: Secret Garden, Easter Blessings
Paper: Primrose Petals, Cameo Coral, Whisper White
Ink: Cameo Coral, Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, Lucky Limeade
Accessories: Jumbo Pearls, Big Shot, Lattice Die, Aquapainter

I used the masking technique. Stamp the large flower where you want it and on a post-it note. Then, cut it out of the post it note. Cover stamped image with post-it note image, and then stamp over flowers. The post-it catches the ink where it would have covered the original flower, so it looks as though it is in the front of the others.
Remember, it's free shipping at Stampin' Up! this weekend. Order online at www.lilyinkpad.stampinup.net

As for the watercoloring, I used my ink pads for ink and just started with the dark areas and ended with the light.

Happy Stamping!
