Stampin' Addicts Winter Holiday Catalog Blog Hop

Although the leaves are just hitting the beginning of their peak here in Wisconsin, winter is just around the corner along with the holidays. We at Stampin' Addicts are planning our home decor, cards, and projects for these events using products from Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalog during our Winter Holiday Catalog Blog Hop. There are 17 stops in this hop, so jump from blog to blog using the next or previous links and you'll see amazing work by amazing people.

Did you just come from Yapha's blog featuring the Winter Specialty Designer Series Paper? Or are you traveling backwards from Mary's blog featuring the Christmas Banner. Either way, are you ready to see what I've been working on? My featured products are the Festive Flurry Product Bundle (13228 Clear or 133294 Wood) for $46.95 (clear) or $54.85 (wood). Save 15% on the Festive Flurry Stamp Set and Festive Flurry Framelit Dies.

See all I could do, even with my crazy busy schedule? The Ornaments are just diecuts from the Festive Flurry Framelits from the Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper layered up. The cards are made using our notecards as a base and the cool card folds out in a fun way.

Here's the front. You can see the Silver Encore Ink clearly on the Island Indigo and Coastal Cabana cardstock. I used my favorite patterns of the Winter Frost Specialty Paper and added some bling with the 1/8" Silver Ribbon. But, this card gets better as you open it:

This is the best I can do photo-wise to show that I cutout the base partially with a framelit to make a fun folding card. I used this as a swap, kind of, at Convention, but it was much simpler.

Here are two of the ornaments close up. I layered up the backsides also, but am limited to 4 pictures today, so check back Monday to see more.
I added a bit of glimmer paper to these ornaments for some added shine. I think that in any room these would look great with the light bouncing off of them.

I also tried traditional Christmas colors on a set of notecards:

For these, I wanted clean and simple. Christmas cards shouldn't be tough to make or hard to send, right? No stress with these cards! Just fun. I added some details with the candy dots, simple snow flake layers, the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder, the Rotary Addition for the Stampin' Trimmer.

I hope you liked my projects! Enjoy the rest of the blog hop! If you get lost or want to chat, check out the Stampin' Addicts Forum Thread.

Now, onto the rest of the hop. Click here to go to see the Christmas Banner at Mary's Stamping Happenings.  If you want to travel backwards, check out Yapha's use of the Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Happy Stamping!

Sara
