Winter Holiday Blog Hop Recap Part 2

That last post got a bit long, so I decided to share more today in another post. That way, you have time to see it all!

Here are the cards:

 and the insides:

I made two cards with the color combination  Cherry Cobbler and Pear Pizzazz and two cards with Real Red and Gumball Green.

Top Left: I stamped the smallest image in Gumball Green and then outlined it with my paper piercer and the Festive Template. I added a Happy Christmas in Real Red and a Candy Dot for some fun. Inside, I stamped a message and then a couple extra snowflakes.

Top Right: I folded this one vertically, which I realized that I should do more often! I then used a framelit to put a window on the front. Next, I stamped in Cherry Cobbler and sponged the window edges with Pear Pizzazz. The bow was made with a strip of Cherry Cobbler that I cut using my Rotary Cutter and the ZigZag Blade. Very easy and cool.

Bottom Right: I used the largest snowflake for my background and then added a layer of Gumball Green with a cut out framelit. Candy Dots made the perfect touch of color on each snowflake. I stamped a message inside and some extra snowflakes.

Bottom Left: I used the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder on the bottom third of the notecard and then used a tiny strip of Cherry Cobbler cut with the Rotary Cutter and Zig Zag Blade, making my own paper ribbon. For my focal point, I used a Cherry Cobbler stamped snowflake die cut with the framelits. It sure beats cutting them out by hand! The final touch was a "Warm Wishes" from Remembering Christmas on the outside and the saying "Remembering you at Christmas and wishing you the best in the new year." Elegant and easy.

Stamps: More Merry Messages, Festive Flurry, Remembering Christmas
Paper: Notecards and Envelopes, Whisper White
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Pear Pizzazz, Real Red, Gumball Green
Accessories: Big Shot, Festive Flurry Framelits, Brights Candy Dots, Stampin' Up! paper Trimmer, Rotary Blade, and ZigZag blade, Delicate Designs Embossing Folder, Paper Piercing Tool, Mat, and Festive Paper Piercing Templates

Happy Creativity!

Sara
