Stamping the Day Away

I've been stamping around hunting with my dad and nephews, Thanksgiving, school stuff, not feeling well, and family stuff. (Bubba likes some of my time, too). I couldn't reveal the details, as I was preparing for a Stamping Day Away--which was my donation to St. Thomas More's International Night School Fundraiser last February. My mom won it and gave it to my sister for her birthday. My sister cashed it in for today. I was lucky to stamp with my stampiest friends! We stamped 8 projects at 8 stations, all cards!
Here are my mom and sister making the goodie bags!

A view of the stations:

I made some goodies, too. We put kisses cello bags and topped them off with tags from the Pop and Place Tag kit. So very easy, cool, and perfect! Here are some of them.

Elf feet!

to go with the elf face from Wednesday. Although, this card was designed first, it fits my theme lately, huh?

Stamps: Many Merry Messages,
Paper: Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler, Silver Glimmer Paper, Whisper White, Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack
Ink: Gumball Green
Accessories: Silver 1/8" Trim, Big Shot, Top Note Die, Petals a Plenty Embossing Folder, Stampin' Trimmer. 1/2" Circle Punch, Large Oval Punch

This card is just so darn cute! The feet are made with quarters of the Top Note die and then punched with the Large Oval so that the shoe gets some shape. So very fun!

Big-eyed Elf

Full Disclosure: I TOTALLY CASED THIS CARD! As soon as it showed up in my Pinterest feed, I pinned it and knew I had to make it. It's just so darn cute!

Check out the inside:

In fact, if you want to make your own, go to Carrie Stamps and find out how! I found it suprisingly easy for all that it seems to have going on!

If you are a part of the Stamping Day Away in a couple of weeks, this is a sneak peek!

Happy Stamping!

November Sunset

I've spent many a November morning and night witnessing dawn break and night fall. The bare trees against the light always makes me think of those not around anymore. My sister wanted to make some sympathy cards at our November Stampin' Celebrations, so I went searching for one and CASED this one, but added my own colors.

Stamps: Lovely as a Tree, Loving Thoughts
Paper: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla
Ink: Versamark, Early Espresso, Midnight Muse, Calypso Coral, Marina Mist
Accessories: Early Espresso 1/8" Ribbon, Argyle Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Pewter Embossing Powder, Aquapainter

We put the card front in the embossing folder so that the bottom 1/4 was plain, allowing the message to be stamped. The trees were embossed and then watercolored over. I love the pewter embossing powder.

November, It's here!

Happy November!

Well, mid-November?

I've had to take a break from blogging, but I have stamped a bit. I just couldn't fit school work, schoolwork, schoolwork, schoolwork, family, me, stamping, and blogging all into one day. Something had to give until I could get balanced again and it was blogging. The good news? I have a stack of projects to share, so you should be able to see more of me again!

I'm starting today with November's desktop wallpaper download. I designed this for me and my take on November--comfy colors and solidness. Is that a word?

My Digital Studio is so much fun to play with. I didn't want to clean anything up, so I could use my computer to get my creativity going tonight!

Happy Creativity!
