Stampin' Addicts DSP Blog Hop: Flashback

Welcome to Lily's Ink Pad and the Second stop at the Stampin' Addicts Designer Series Paper Blog Hop. You can start on my blog and click NEXT til you get all the way back here in a loop of the 7 stops to see all the AH-mazing things my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Friends have created.

Why are we doing this blog hop right now? Well, for the month of July, you can buy 3 packs of Designer Series Paper and Get One More FREE from your demonstrator. (only the papers that are labeled Designer Series Paper, not the Speciality Paper or the packs of paper).

My paper is .... FLASHBACK (133699).  I love the colors (Crushed Curry, Real Red, Pool Party, Basic Black, Smokey Slate, Very Vanilla) and the style. I started by making these cards:

My plan was the one on the left, but I went overboard and created the one on the right first. I like them both in the end, but the left is my favorite. What about you?

Next Up, I tried to go traditional/girly for a card:

I stole the card sketch and I will share on Monday, June 14 how I did it.  I love all the patterns in this pack. Some remind me of my grandma's aprons. Some fit my mom's red and white sensibilities, and the rest fit me! A true flashback in time and good for many kinds of projects.

Finally, I made cards for Project Life layouts. I'm a bit Project Life obsessed since Stampin' Up! partnered with Becky Higgins this catalog. I am in LOVE! I am finally scrapbooking again.

We celebrated my cousin's middle child's High School Graduation in early June I am already caught up with my scrapbooking! AWESOME! I used the Flashback paper here with the camera motif throughout. I created my own embellishments with the Project Life Point and Click Stamp set and Project Life Framelits. I'll give more details next week. So very cool!

I hope you enjoyed this stop on our little blog hop and now you can bounce forward or backward to the other stops! Click here to go forward to Rhonda's Blog featuring Sweet Taffy (one of my favorites) or click here to go backward to Yapha's blog featuring Flowerpot. You can also click on the blog hop header to go to Stampin' Addicts and comment on our thread, visit the galleries, or chat with other Stampin' Up! Addicts!

Happy Stamping!
