Righty Tighty Lefty Loosey

That old saying has been a joke around me for a long time. I get left and right confused, even now. I blame it on my dad who worked with people in as technician in an eye clinic. If he pointed right, he meant the other person's left and so on. My students find it funny when I get cofuzzled by it.

Anyway, I've wanted to use this saying since I got the set and this week's As You See It Challenge was the perfect time to make this card:

I love the sketch. I found that 4 x 1 1/4 rectangles fit across the card pretty well. I used FAST FUSE, and boy, it fuses fast. I couldn't reposition the black rectangle after I eyeballed it wrong! I used the Chalkboard paper from the Occasions Catalog and White Craft Ink for the tools. I like the way they look. In fact, I used no Whisper White on this whole card! I'm proud of myself! When I asked my husband (I should know better) if this card was masculine enough. He said, "If you get rid of the ribbon." I said, "That's cotton twine." He said, "Whatever you call it, it's ribbon." I like it, so it stays.

Here's this week's As You See It Challenge Sketch.

I love the inspiration I get from this challenge every week, whether I have time to participate or not.

  1. I love this DSP! And it's is one of my favourite sentiments, since my hubby has to keep reminding me about it! I like how you made the washer and nut! A great masculine card! Thanks for playing along with us this week at As You See It Challenges!
