Fancy Picnic Place Settings

My sister is the queen of home entertaining. Really, Martha Stewart should follow her lead with big dinners and parties. When I dreamed up this project, I did so  to give her yet another idea (IE: Idea I'd have to do again for a theme party). I then decided it would make a unique addition to our Lily Ink Pad Retreat Pillow Gifts.

and

I found the wood plates and silverware online. The Designer Series Paper just happened to be in the 2015-2016 Annual Catalog and the rest, as they say, is history.

The utensil pouches were made with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits. Here's how:

I then put a fun folded napkin into the holder behind the silver wood ware. I added the Enjoy from the thinlits collection for fun.

The long folded thing crosswise behind the utensils is not a napkin, but a paper placemat that I had planned to stamp. Then, I realized I didn't own the coordinating stamp set. So,  I fancy cut out the grapes and tomatoes and then adhered them on Old Olive and Basic Black Circles. I think they turned out pretty cool.

Lastly, I had some extra pieces so I made a few placemat holders.

These could work for napkin rings, too, but I had placemats, not big napkins available.

Well, that's a fun project that didn't take too long to make. A small dinner party would take an hour or so to whip these up.
