A Party without a Cake is Just a Meeting

All meetings should have cake. Right?
(I took the past two months off from blogging to save my sanity. I have stamped, and will be catching up with you now! My family and myself are my first priority, then my students, then stamping, then the blog. I apologize that it gets the low priority status, but when I do post, you'll know it's good!)

Check out this SNEAK PEEK from the upcoming Occasions Catalog (available Jan 5).

and the inside:

SOOO many great new products! You can check them out at the bottom of the post. I like the little details like a bit of glitter for frosting. I simply used the Fine Tip Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. For the cake, I used my Stampin' Markers to color directly on the stamp. I carefully added the sentiment on the cake and added the candles.

See those little balloons? At the OnStage Premiere, where demonstrators got to see (and play) with new products in November), I fell in love with the Party Punch Pack. I love the little balloons. When you punch with these, you don't get the white outline. How cool.

For the balloon strings, I cut a 3 inch piece of Two Tone Baker's Twine and pulled out the Melon Mambo strings. Then, I did this:

Now, the sketch:
