Ridiculously Happy

What a great saying:

I just had to use it for the latest As You See It Challenge:

I love a good theme. I decided to make a card that I would give to Bubba for our anniversary, which I think is 10 this August. 10 wild and crazy years and I am still ridiculously happy. He cracks me up daily.

Here's the inside:

This is a straightforward card as I just stamped with a NEW STAMP SET using NEW INK COLORs, used my Big Shot to cut out with NEW FRAMELITS and added NEW ACCESSORIES.

Love, Love, love.

You're Cool Birthday Special

It's my birthday and I am celebrating today with a Cool Card for the As You See It Challenge:

I love Cool Treats Stamp Set and Clare reminded me how cool it was this weekend, so I decided to share my love of Frozen Treats with you all for my birthday using this set.  I also used a sketch from the As You See It Challenge. Whew! That's a lot for one card!

And now, for the Birthday Special.

If you place an order of $30 or  more by May 22, you will get a sampler of ribbon from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog which starts June 1. How cool! What will be in the sampler? Well, I can't order ribbon yet, so I will order a selection of ribbons in a variety of colors  for you to have at least a yard of ten types of ribbon. How cool!

Hostess Code for Online Orders.

This is only available from me, because it's my birthday!

First Time I Saw You...

The Urban Underground Suite from the Occasions Catalog is one of the most fun to play with. Here is one card using all parts of the suite.

The most fun I had designing this card was the "ruler" out of Silver Foil Paper. The other side of the black "bench top" is Urban Underground Designer Series Washi Tape. The tools were easy to cut out with the Framelits and Stampin' Up! Markers made them look fabulous. Easy Peasy. For  a little extra fun, I added the spilled nails and the Washi Tape behind the sentiment.

Such fun!

Pretty In Pink

I totally cased the card I am featuring today. However, I didn't keep track of who originally created it. I saw it at the Minneapolis OnStage event and loved it  and knew it would be a great card for my Stampin' Celebrations folks.

Can you believe that this is the same stamp set as my post from Friday? I love how versatile this stamp set is! Garden in Bloom is easy to use and produces amazing results.

My flower pot is the bowl from the Frozen Treats Framelits Dies, which is another awesome unexpected use of a framelit.  The Playful Palette Designer Series paper works perfectly with this idea.

Bright Flowers in Bloom

Wow. Where has the month gone? The kids at school have been wearing me out! It feels great to have made it to May with this bunch, but I feel as if I have so many more goals to meet with them. I did get some stamping in, though, Here's a Mother's Day card my Grandma Elsie would have loved. She loved bright colors and flowers. It seems fitting to share it on her birthday.

Here's my inspiration.

Happy Mother's Day didn't seem like enough to say, so I went with the "Hope your're feeling special today ...because that's what you are."

Are these colors unfamiliar? Well, they are part of the new In Color collection for 2017-2019. Fresh Fig and Berry Burst. The green is Lemon Lime Twist. I love these funky new colors. Bright is my thing.

You can order these new In Colors after June 1!

Reach for the Stars, graduate!

Inspiring and Celebratory. That's what a graduation card should be. I kept that in my head as I designed this card:

I used the star from the Mini-Treat Bags Thinlits on a 3 by 3 inch Basic Black Square. Behind it, I  used Urban Underground Washi Tape and Designer Series Paper, plus a strip of silver sequins. I used the spatter stamp from Swirly Bird and added some Silver and Turquoise Enamel Star Shapes.  The black strips are the Urban Underground Designer Series Paper. One has mini polka dots and one has silver-embossed X's.

We are making this graduation card at May's Stampin' Celebrations, so I hope they love it!
