Got Vellum? Yes, I do!

We all know that I usually buy products with a plan, then get a new idea, and then... Well, it's a problem. There are things in my stamp room that I haven't used much and want to use, but need a push in that direction to do so. This week at Splitcoaststampers, the Dirty Dozen Girls are putting out a gazillion great challenges a day. My card is by no means as cool as theirs, but I did do this for challenge DTGD08Laurie - Got Vellum?. Ever since I got a swap from Janice Basak, I've had a card like this in my mind.

My picture isn't great. This looks much cooler IRL (in real life).
Stamps: Always, Fresh Cuts
Paper: Whisper White, Vellum Cardstock
Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze
Accessories: White Taffeta Ribbon, Sponge Dauber, 1/8 circle Punch

I learned a lot of things on this card. 1) I like Vellum Cardstock much better than vellum paper. 2) If you push a handheld punch in too far, you get marks on your paper and need to start over. 3) Craft Ink would dry nicer on the vellum. 4) Heating Vellum isn't a smart idea.

I had planned on Monday to do all the challenges. We'll see if I can get any more done before I leave!
