I can't hold it in anymore! Here is the first card:
What's missing is the stick. This is a Popsicle card. I don't know who started them, but I first noticed them on Splitcoaststampers when Tart and Tangy was in the Summer Mini Catalog. I was using Tart and Tangy for a different project, so wanted to use another set. I love Party Hearty, and it seemed to fit the mood of this card, so I worked to make this set work! That little cupcake can be a pain, though. If only I had the 1 3/4 inch circle punch already! But, I don't, so I eventually figured out to use the 1 3/8 inch square punch and the corner rounder to make it cooler! I also non-characteristically added glitter. That cupcakes calls out for a little blitz!
Stamps: Party Hearty
Paper: Tangerine Tango, Whisper White
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Green Galore Stampin' Write Markers
Accessories: 1 3/8 square punch, corner rounder punch, scallop punch, Popsicle stick, tempting turquoise ribbon, paper snips, dazzling diamonds, powder pal, two way glue
To show my crazy versatility:We will make this one second, as as folks finish they can order! I CASED (copy and share everything) this card from nancylittrell. I changed a few things, but loved her background idea. She actually changed up a card she had previously made and I had that one saved as an idea to use some day! I had planned a different card using the Bella Rose Style Watch and then realized that I didn't have enough paper and that it was a pretty advanced card!
Here's what I used:
Stamps: Dreams du Jour
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Bashful Blue
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Bella Rose DSP, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White
Accessories: Sponge Dauber, Blender Pen, 1 3/8 square punch, paper snips
I love this card, as it brings back the quilter in me and it has flowers, but isn't too frilly. It's really my style, other than the pink!
