Back to School...stamping style!

What is most important for style on the first day of school? A backpack. Well, not for my students. (It's not cool to carry a backpack in middle school). I still had to make this project when I saw it posted on a Splitcoast Demonstrator Challenge.

Here is the back:
Stamps: Classic Stars Jumbo Wheel
Ink: Tempting Turquoise
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Green Galore, Whisper White
Accessories: Large Star Punch, Small Star Punch, Crafter's Tool Kit, Tempting Turquoise 1/4 grosgrain ribbon, Bold Bright Brads, School Days Rub-ons, Sticky Strip, Fresh Favorites Buttons
I love brads! I needed a way to tie the flap and was struggling because I thought of it after I made it. I then realized I could use a button and two brads to make a tie off location. Cute, huh?
To make this project, I followed a few folks' templates, then did my own thing when I hit trouble.

The base is from this link: Susie Nelson measurements . This is part of a great resource for demonstrators on Splitcoastampers. You have to be registered in the demonstrator forums to access it. Sorry. Here is another link that is on a blog that might be helpful if you want to make your own bag: StampVamp's Stamp Happens Video Tutorial .
I hope you have a great start to the school year! Mine is fabulous so far, but I haven't been able to post as often as I like. I hope to post 2-3 days a week, so stay tuned! I've been working on a lot of designing lately that I can't quite show you yet! But I will...
