Semi-Homemade Bag

At Convention, we decked out a bag...supercute! On Splitcoast, this week's demonstrator 3D project challenge was to decorate a bag!

Here's mine:

I have been a slacker on challenges lately and this one fit perfectly to cross one more thing off my to do list--make a bag for a gift for my upline Lori! She reads my blog so I can't tell you what goes in the bag. Ok. I'll give a hint--goodies from Convention!

This bag was made with the Seasonal Icons Holiday Bundle, a level 3 hostess set. This contains 6 pages of Designer Series Paper, a package of coordinating rub-ons, and a stamp set. It is fun to play around with as all Holidays are covered! Well, maybe not all, but the big ones!

I cut cardstock to fit the bag and then made a separator using my new scallop border punch. I tried to make rick rack, but wasn't good at lining it up correctly. I'm sure I just missed a trick! One got too wide, so I added a sliver of Baja Breeze, and in the end, I like it.

Ahhh...another cute project!

Time for bed,
