She choose a color combo challenge of Kiwi Kiss, Perfect Plum, Tangerine Tango and So Saffron. Can you identify all of them on mine?
The next challenge was to use the sketch I used to layout my card.
The final challenge was a technique called moonlighting. (Punch a circle and place it on the spot you want white. Sponge around).
This entire card started with these challenges. Then I had to let it stew for a while...I wasn't feeling halloweeeny yet as I said and the whole moon concept seemed, well, halloweeeny. I then thought of using Lovely as a Tree. Been there. Done that. I really wanted to use this new set that I got at Convention. But a moon and a butterfly? The naturalist in me wouldn't go for it. I had a great card made with a sun until I reread the challenge. So, I tried a moon and guess what, I like it! Inspiration comes from everywhere!
