Stampin’ Up!’s paper is the best…thick, sturdy, color all the way through, and coordinate! I started small, one or two packs an order, with the matching ink until I have most of them. Then what? For a long time, I used two, then three, file boxes with a folder for each one. Scraps were always an issue for me. How do best use my paper without wasting? How do I keep my room from becoming a complete scrap heap?

This summer, I bought two file cabinets, one at St. Vincent De Paul and one on clearance at Office Max. (I always want to maximize my stampin money.) I then reorganized my paper. What I do now is store my paper by color family. One per drawer. I then printed a label using word on my computer for each color. After placing each label on a hanging file tab, I then put two folders inside, one for full sheets, one for partials.
Now, I can always use a scrap when designing and the big sheets when I need card backs! No

Check it out!
What a great idea! I'm going to have to try this, because right now I just have a big box full of all different colors of scraps!
ReplyDeleteOMG! This is the greatest idea, and it's so obvious!
ReplyDeleteI'm always looking for a better way to organize my paper. Thanks for the tip!
