Sweet New Baby

No not mine! I have a baby shower event coming up in May and needed baby ideas. As I wrote before, babies aren't my thing! At all. What do I do when I need ideas? Swap. Here is my swap for the Girl Group:

Stamps: Sweet Celebrations, Cute and Cuddly
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Candy Cane Designer Series Paper, Very Vanilla
Ink: Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Big Shot, Scallop Bigz Die, Paper Snips, Dimensionals, Paper Piercing tool, template, and pad, Vintage Brads, Scallop Edge Punch, 1 1/4 Circle Punch, Crafter Tool Kit Hammer

This was a fun card and not my usual style. First, it has pink. Second, it has scallops. I compensated for the pink by adding what I consider a good color--Chocolate Chip. I think it turned out ok.

The best part of this card is that I got to use  my hammer. You see, the brads tend to get goofy. To make them lie flat and look good, I hammered them down. Stress relief and stamping go hand in hand!

Happy Stamping!

  1. You are so funny and speak the truth! Yes, my DH has come up to my craft room many times to see what I'm hammering - and it's usually eyelets! LOL!! Just like stamping, hammering eyelets IS a great stress reliever. Great job with this baby card... love the scallops!

  2. Im stealing a few minutes to visit you lol... Very cute I love brown and pink together for babies. Very elegant!

Thanks for commenting! I love feedback!
