I'm a bit obsessed right now, trying to dream my fixer-upper cottage into a reality. I also have a small (teeny, tiny) obsession with Stampin' Up! So, for the Diva Coffee Break Challenge this week, I decided to fulfill both desires...
Stamps: None
Paper: Bella Bleu
Ink: Old Olive Craft Ink
Accessories: Latte Buttons, Pretties Kit, Glue Dots, Scallop Edge Punch, Big Shot, Bigz Butterflies, Dimensonals, Very Vanilla 1/4 grosgrain ribbon
I've been inspired for a long time with other folk's name frame designs and finally finished one of my own. I hope to place this in my new kitchen at the cottage.
To make the butterflies 3-D I layered dimensionals and the edges of dimensionals to push them in the air. I was inspired by Tammy Fites' example so used pearls for the body of the butterfly. I used on board letters and colored them with my craft ink spots. I used Old Olive for contrast.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Yesterday, I found some me time at the new St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Store in Oshkosh and found this frame which was the basis for my project for $1.50. You can't beat that!
Happy Stamping!
