Welcome to the Lily Ink Pad stop on the Stampin' Addicts Birthday Blog Hop. You might have come from Cindy's blog Heart's Delight Cards featuring cards perfect for an adult female in your life or you might have found me on your own. Either way, you are in for a special treat as this is stop 10! You can click on the link on the bottom of my post to see the next stop! The official start time is 12 pm today through midnight February 21st!
What did I create? Well, I've been a little obsessed lately with one event coming up in my- I mean, my sister's - life-- the birth of a new niece! She's a fighter and I am anxious to see her healthy and all wrapped up in the clothes I've bought! I have created three announcement templates for me to whip up those all-important baby announcements using My Digital Studio:
Green and Pink Traditional:
Just so you know, the big rectangle is for an adorable picture of the newest Kohls baby--once she arrives. Right now, we want her to stay comfy a bit longer.
Version 2: So Sweet- Tweet, Tweet:
Version 3: Girly Butterflies

Using My Digital Studio to create these was fun and easy on one wintery night after a long day at my day job as a teacher. I could sit back, sip tea, and design away! Be sure to check back to see which one we choose and to ooh and ahh over the baby photos!
Oh yeah, I like them all, which do you like? Put your vote in the comments and I will draw for Blog Candy on Monday, February 22nd. You'll receive the new scallop edge punch!
Now, continue the celebration with more butterflies at Rhonda's blog: The Stamping Bunny.
Happy Hopping!
great MDS projects!
ReplyDeleteThese are just wonderful! I love them all! Such a great aunt! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove that you featured MDS projects. My fave is the pink butterfly card. Caught my eye right away. Love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas using the MDS!
ReplyDeleteThey are all three adorable!
ReplyDeleteThese are great projects using MDS. Love them!
ReplyDeleteI vote for the pink announcement -- so sweet! (But then, they all are!)
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful, but I am drawn to the pink one with the butterflies! How exciting for you to have a new niece soon!
ReplyDeleteSara they are all cute! Great job!! Don't put my name in for the drawing I just wanted to comment how great they are!!
ReplyDeleteSo adorable! As a novice quilter, the square one is my fave ;)
ReplyDeleteThey are all just lovely, but since you're making me choose ... I pick the green and pink card! Congrats on the impending arrival of your new niece.

Oh, I like them all, it is a tough choice but I think the first one, green with the pink/peach accents is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteCute ideas!
ReplyDeleteLove them all but I especially like the quilt card!
ReplyDeleteI like the butterfly one the best, although all of them were very cute. I also liked its unique size.
ReplyDeleteI love the celery and pink announcement. What a great layout - I am totally CASEing that for mine. :)
ReplyDeleteI think I like Version 3 best, for several reasons...it goes with the theme of the baby's room - butterflies; it is pink (after having only 2 boys - I like seeing girly things; and it is economical since you can get 3 notices out of it with room for an adorable picture to be added. Hope the event happens soon!

I just love My Digital Studio! You did a great job with it here!
ReplyDeleteI love the third one! She definitely needs a girly butterfly announcement!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteThe butterfly DSP is beautiful, but I like the layout from the tweet card best! The non traditional way to add info in the clouds - really cool!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new niece!! I am crazy about butterflies, so that is my fav, but they are all wonderful. You did a fantastic job! What a lucky girl to have you as an aunt. I know you can't wait til she's here.
ReplyDeleteDeb B.
Goodness gracious, how are we supposed to choose among these beauties?
ReplyDeleteThey're all adorable, but I'll go with number one; it allows the biggest photo of the star of the show, your soon-to-be niece!
Oh, I just love them all.. especially the second one with the quilt squares! Very cute!!
ReplyDeleteAll three are beautiful. But if I have to pick a favorite - it would be the girly butterfly one.
ReplyDeleteAll 3 projects are adorable but I esp. love the butterfly project!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done projects! Thanks so much for sharing.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful pages! I will have to CASE!
ReplyDeleteThe butterflies are my fav! TFS!
Great job on MDS! My fav is the Green & Pink Traditional but really like them all. It's quite obvious you're very exciting about the upcoming birth of your grand-niece…and rightfully so. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteSara, each card is so cute! I love that you included MDS projects on this blog hop. My favorite is the second one because I think those clouds are just adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh! Such a hard decision. The pink and green is my favorite color combination, but the quilt layout is my favorite layout.....so, I guess, my vote will have to be for the..ummm, well...the pink/green one.
