Secret Project #1: Monkey Baby Shower Favors

Ok, it's time! I've been working on a series of secret projects. On my Lily Ink Pad Facebook Fan Page (click to see it and become a fan), I let people know what I've been up to Stampin' wise. Last week, I posted that I finished three secret projects and now I am going to share the first.

Stamps: Fox and Friends
Paper: Baja Breeze
Ink: Soft Suede
Accessories: Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8 Circle Punch, Googlie Eyes, Crystal Effects, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, 1/4" ribbon

These were the baby shower favors for my cousin Jerry and his wife Kristie's new baby James. Here's a close up:

I've been wanting to do a baby shower theme with this little monkey since I first laid eyes on this set! But, my sister didn't want monkeys for her baby showers, so I took this opportunity to do it up!  One final tip, when buying candy to place inside- make sure it fits! We had to have ours ala carte!

Overall, I think the shower was a success and this surprise made everyone a bit happier! Then again, who couldn't be happy with little James around!

Happy Stamping!

  1. Oh my gosh, that is adorable!!! I can't wait to see the rest of your secret projects!

  2. Aww, that is so sweet! (Pun intended, lol.)

  3. So cute! Love the addition of the googly eyes - adorable!

Thanks for commenting! I love feedback!
