Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes (inside card)
Paper: Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Daffodil Delight, Basic Gray, Newsprint Designer Series Paper
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Owl Punch, Early Espresso 1/4" Ribbon, Paper Snips and Paper Cutter, Basic Black Brad, Scallop Oval Punch
The Newsprint Designer Series Paper is just perfect for a generic card that could be customized with colors later. For the owl's hat, I used the a black punch out of the owl's vest for the underpart of the hat. I also liked the use of the larger circles for the eyes. Chasing those tiny 1/16" eyeball parts from this punch is hard for me and I appreciate how cute he is without the tiny eyes. The nose is the yellow heart that popped out from the punch when I made the legs. The wings are half of a Scallop Oval Punch (very clever, Lorri). Here's a tip for those little legs, see how I used a strip of paper to get the legs. I left that entire oval-ly shape on the legs, which I added adhesive to and stuck on. I cut off the gray ones.
Happy Stamping!
