Snow Cone for Summer

One of my favorite things as a kid to get at the Central Wisconsin State Fair was a snow cone. It counted as a drink, ice cream, and I could usually afford it. Plus, we could pick our flavors. So, when I saw the card on the left, I knew we had to make the card on the right for Stampin' Celebrations Club.

Stamps: It's Your Birthday
Paper: Whisper White
Ink: Pacific Point, Real Red, Daffodil Delight
Accessories: 2 way glue, Dazzling Diamonds, Petal Cone Die, Big Shot, Sticky Strip, Paper Snips, Sponge Daubers, Straw

This is a fun version of the ice cream cards. All I did was cut out the Petal Cone Die twice using the Big Shot. We closed the cone to create the pocket using sticky strip and trimmed the second triangle to fit inside. We added the scallop petal, sponged the ink colors, and used glue to add Dazzling Diamonds. Fun!

Thanks to Cindy Baughman from Kapolei, Hawaii for the swap that I copied to make this card!

Happy Stamping!

  1. What a cute idea. I love the 3 colors on it, too. What good memories this brings to mind...

  2. "Cool" idea! The colors are so vibrant!
