You can't really tell in my photo, but I shimmer sprayed the mittens to make it feel more like a frosty winter day. I just love this paper and had to make some winter-birthday cards with it. The mittens were calling to me!
Celebrating the little moments, like stepping into crunchy snow, or the first flakes of the season are my favorite ways of being grateful. Lately, I've needed to feel a little gratitude to make it through some tough days. However, those moments, like when I explained to my sixth graders that the white stuff falling from the sky was SNOW. (since they acted like they had never seen it before), are the moments that sustain me. This card kind of makes me think of those moments.
Happy Stamping!
Sorry to hear that you're having a rough patch in life. Hoping it gets better for you! On another note, this card is too cute! Love the simplicity of it!
ReplyDeleteHugs Sara! I love your card I too not ready for the cold here in northern mn! lol
ReplyDeleteI love it!! I love how simple it is, yet perfect for winter. It's getting cold here in the valleys of Utah too. Brrrr.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to embrace the cold rather than fight it - I think you'll definitely have more fun that way!
ReplyDeleteSorry that you're struggling, Sara. I hope things improve for you very soon. Love the shimmery simplicity of the card.
