Wishes for a Sweet Start

One of the things that kept me busy over my vacation was making these bridal shower favors for a co-worker of my sister. My sister threw the event together for a lunch party with her role as hostess with the mostess. She asked to borrow a calla lily stamp. Not owning one, I offered to make her the tags.
Stamps: none
Paper: Wisteria Wonder, Garden Green, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
Ink: Sahara Sand
Accessories: My Digital Studio, Blossom Petals Builder, Paper Snips, Dimensionals, Big Shot, Two Tags Bigz Die

These tags were attached to bag of skittles, the bride-to-be's favorite candy. The tag reads: "Here's to a sweet start for Jaimie and Greg." I used My Digital Studio to make the tag. I opened a blank 8 1/2 x 11" file and created the tag. I then used the Group feature to group my parts. I copied them to print multiple copies on a page of Whisper White. That was the easy part! I then had to cut them out, as there were no punches that were cute enough!

I followed Lynn Pratt's tutorial on her blog, "Stamp-n-Design." Her picture explain it all!

Happy Stamping!

  1. Very cute Sara!! And I love your new blog design! My eyes do weird things with certain patterns, so I had a hard time with the other one.

Thanks for commenting! I love feedback!
