I've been working on wedding invitation ideas to swap with some stampin' friends. The new Idea Book and Catalog is just around the corner, and, well, I HAD to use my new stuff! One of my favorite perks about being a Demonstrator is that I can preorder certain items. Here is my fanciest:
I used the new Everything Eleanor stamp set, which you can order after June 1. I stamped in black stazon and then watercolored, using the new In Colors-- Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, and Summer Starfruit. You can see more inside:
Stamps: Everything Eleanor
Paper: Raspberry Ripple, Newsprint Designer Series Paper, Very Vanilla
Ink: Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals, and Summer Starfruit
Accessories: My Digital Studio, Big Shot, Labels Framelits, Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon, Simply Scored, Simply Scored Diagonal Plate
I started with an 8 1/2 square piece of newsprint. I used my Diagonal Scoring plate. I scored at 3 3/4" on one side and then 4 3/8" on the next side. I turned it 90 degrees each time. I snipped out the little triangles where the score lines overlap and then I had my envelope. Super cool and easy.
MDS is my best friend when it comes to making invites. I just typed in my info and then printed. The Big Shot did the rest!
Easy and fun!
Happy Stamping!
