Best in Class Birthday

It's a blue ribbon day around here. Well, most days are, so for sure today will be one!

 And it gets better:
What kid (or adult) wouldn't want this card sitting on their desk or tv or bookshelf to adore?

Stamps: Blue Ribbon
Paper: Pacific Point, Polka Dot Parade, Whisper White
Ink: Pacific Point, Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: Labels Collection Framelits, Big Shot, Brights Buttons, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, 2 3/8" Scallop Punch, Brights Brads, Daffodil Delight Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Simply Scored

I designed this card a couple of weeks ago. and can finally share it as I sent my swaps in Monday, and they get swapped Friday. So, anyone in the swap, can get a little snake peek as to what they are going to see!

I wanted a way to showcase the ribbon so that the recipient could be proud. An easel card seemed the way to go. Then, I planned some layers with the framelits, and thought, what if I used the framelit for my outline? Hmm... Here's how I placed the framelit on the cardstock. I left a sliver of space between the top of the framelit along my fold:

When done, I had the base for my card. I then scored the middle:
The final step is to attach the top layer to the bottom half of the middle layer.

Tah Dah!

Happy Stamping!
