According to Stampin' Up!:
- They're entirely transparent for perfect placement every time!
- They are durable. The photopolymer material is designed to last.
- Can you say sticky? (Don't worry; in a good way.) These stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks.
- They're age tested. They won't yellow or cloud up over time.
- We could go on, but we'll let you try them for yourself.
I also know (from attending the event that first featured our clear mount stamps) that Stampin' Up! took a long time to find the type of medium that would produce an image as nice as the rubber we currently use. In fact, when the clear mount stamps were announced, Shelli made it clear that Stampin' Up! would never go with an inferior product. To me, the fact that they are trying out this one set shows me that the research and development team has hit a home run. Try it!
Here is my first card:
Stamps: Designer Typeset Photopolymer Stamps
Paper: Summer Starfruit, Whisper White, Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Pool Party, Island Indigo
Accessories: Sycamore Street Ribbon Pack, Paper Snips
It was so very cool to add one letter at a time and place them just where I wanted. Tedious, too, but the result was fun. I found that no matter how many times I replaced and restamped the letters, the stamp didn't stretch or distort. I also found I could bend the banner to how I wanted it to fit on my card:
I can't wait to play some more!
Happy Stamping!
