Flip Flop Over the Top Fancy Fold Get Well Card

A day or two late, but here's one of my cards from this weekend's Stampin' Addicts Blog Hop in more detail. Here's the unassuming and poorly photographed front:

 and then...
and then....
How cool! I love this fold. I first used it on a Halloween Card back in October 2012. I first learned it from my friend Mary Haugen in a swap.  I adjusted the circles I first used to the new Chalk Talk Framelits.

Stamps: Tag It!
Paper: In Color Designer Series Paper Pack, Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush, Whisper White
Ink: Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding Markers
Accessories: Chalk Talk Framelits, Big Shot, Artisan Label Punch, Ruffled Coastal Cabana Ribbon, Simply Scored

I cut a 4 1/4 by 11 piece of cardstock and used my Simply Scored to score at 4 1/4 and 8 1/2. Sometimes, you have to adjust a bit to get the folds to fit just right, but it works. Next, I placed the card on my Big Shot with the Magnetic Platform and aligned the Chalk Talk Framelit along the top fold. I cut out the hole and now had a place to add my image! I forgot to take a picture of this. I hope you can visualize it.

I'm swapping this card on Thursday as a part of a Fun Folds Swap! I can't wait to see what I get in return!

Happy Creativity!
