Also at the Stampin' Day Away, I made a Butterfly Nugget Favor so we all had some chocolate and we all had something for our bags right away!
I saw QBee's Quest Hershey Kiss Butterfies and planned to follow her amazing tutorial. Then, I sent my husband to get Nuggets. not Kisses. Opps. I then needed to figure out a different way. I found a picture that looked right on Pinterest, at the blog Kreativersum. It turns out, she used a German candy that was a different size than our American nuggets and she used centimeter measurements. I followed her basic concept and found my own measurements.
Stamps: None
Paper: 2013-2105 In Color Paper Stack
Ink: None
Accessories: Stampin' Score Board, paper snips, skewer
For each butterfly you need 2 strips of DSP that are 1" by 9 inches. My measurements were: 1/2", 3 1/2", and 6 1/2".
These are very easy and were well liked by the group.
I just also have to show you how my mom used punches to label our food on her sandwich bar for lunch:
Happy Stamping!
Sara
