Anyhoo.... here is my creation:
I found the color combo using Color Q challenges. I switched out Basic Black for Night of Navy. I like it. Not too bad for a girly card! The collage technique--where you layer stamped images over one another is fun because it makes you want to add every image in the set! I held back and only used seven out of eleven. (I still do math, even while stamping.)
The background paper is the Irrestistably Yours Designer Series Paper. I used my Smokey Slate and a brayer to get the even tone. The leafy parts resisted the ink and remained blank. I am in love with this paper and plan to show more ideas as I think of them.
I used this week's As You See It Sketch Challenge:
Join us for some fun this week! Note that I tried to use the sketch with the lumberjack card Sunday, but didn't feel it was a good enough match to the sketch in the end.
Happy Stamping!
Sara
Lovely collage stamping, Sara! And don't you love that Irresistibly Yours paper? You did a great job of the brayering! Thanks for sharing with us at As You See It Challenges this week.
