I was grateful when I opened a package from a fellow demonstrator, and inside was the Watercolor Wings stamp set. I loved it and felt like I hadn't had enough time with mine before the fire.
This is what I designed last weekend:
I love that paper. Through the generosity of my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator friends, I was given the paper I used here, Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper. I combined the ones with Mint Macaron in them to make these cards. I also found out that the other Very Vanilla/Mint Macaron flower pattern also looks great on this card.
As I cut the ribbon, I realized that the Venetian Crochet ribbon also looked pretty neat:
The corners make this card great. I used the Curvy Corner Trio punch. How easy and cool. I also used it to punch slots to put the Baker's Twine through to close the card.
The colors I used on the butterfly were a stamped off Mint Macaron for the base, a full strength Mint Macroon, and then the new Basic Black Archival Ink. So beautiful.
I scored the regular 5 1/2" by 8" card base at 1 1/2" from the right side at 5 3/4" to make my fun fold.
