Merry Glitzy Christmas!

We have a great Mattson Christmas full of treats and presents and love. After that, I decided to hibernate as I put my life back in order- laundry, cleaning, sleeping. I also found time for coloring and puzzles and movies! Now, I can focus on more fun: stamping. (I had to find my craft table under the piles of stuff.

I know it's past Christmas, but I had to wait until I gave this gift to show my fancy packaging:

I was inspired by the As You See It Challenge : Santa! I made it on time, but didn't post it as Christmas present making and cookie/candy creating took over. That's the beauty of these challenges, they are inspiring at any time.

I have had a goal of using up what I have as much as possible and using all of the tools that I have been blessed to be given after the fire. This bag was made using the Gift Bag Punch Board, which was super easy. Plus, no one else had this kind of bag at  my school for gifts! It's a one of a kind (I only had one piece of the Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum in red stripes left). I also used my Square Framelits on Basic Black. I just put both the larger and smaller square through the Big Shot at the same time! Easy peasy. The Ornate Tag Topper Punch on a spare piece of vellum (from the bag remnants) and added  Basic Black strip to write on with the Chalk Marker. For extra fun, I used the Snow Friends Framelits to cut out a Santa Hat from the Red Glimmer Paper and another after I Stamped in Real Red on Whisper White. I fuzzy cut the trim pieces and then Voila! I had a great tag.

The final touch was a bow with the 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon in Basic Black.

I think this may have been the glitziest thing I ever created.

Shop quickly if you want some of the Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum, you can only buy it until January 4, 2016.
